Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "N. CLARK & CO. / MOUNT MORRIS," NY State origin, circa 1825-1840, highly-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a large brushed design of a leaf below a freehand "2". Some fry to cobalt. A horizontal hairline to handle.
