Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Incised Floral Decoration, attributed to William Capron, Albany, NY, circa 1800-1805, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with an incised and cobalt-highlighted design of a daisy. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A large restored crack around body of jug indicates this jug was most likely previously broken into two pieces and reglued.
