Five-Gallon Double-Handled Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Decoration, Palatine, WV origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tooled spout and two open handles applied at the shoulder, decorated with a large brushed-cobalt "5" on the front. In-the-firing flaws, including contact marks / recessed spots to body and a ping to right handle.H 18 1/2".
