Rare Miniature Glazed Stoneware Churn, AL origin, late 19th or early 20th century, cylindrical form with flared collar, applied vertical handle, and horizontal lug handle, the surface covered in a streaky Albany slip glaze with areas of salt glaze to shoulder, creating a "frog skin" effect. Possibly a salesman's sample. Excellent condition with a tiny base chip, minor handle wear and a miniscule rim nick. H 4 7/8".
