Stoneware Reclining Dog Doorstop, Jane Lew, WV, circa 1880, molded figure of a reclining spaniel on slab base, the surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Chips to bottom edge. An in-the-firing fissue along seam liineon top of head. T-shaped in-the-firing fissure to underside. Some light surface wear. L 8 3/4".
