Two-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, NC origin, second quarter 19th century, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, the surface dipped in a brown slip and covered in a salt glaze with heavy runs to shoulder. Excellent condition with a minor chip to underside at edge.
