Unusual Large-Sized Redware Jar, American, possibly Southern U.S., 19th century, approximately five-gallon jar of unusual narrow-bodied, ovoid form with rounded rim and applied lug handles, the surface covered in a colorful, streaky lead-and-manganese glaze. Appealing size, form, and glaze. Excellent condition with some light surface wear. H 19".
