One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT / GREENSBORO. PA," circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with flared collar, the body decorated with freehand stripes and Williams & Reppert maker's stenciling surrounding a stenciled vine. Spout and collar decorated with columns of freehand dashes. Freehand stripe decoration to rim and base of collar. Cobalt highlight to upper handle terminal. Large restoration to spout area. Restoration to base area on left side of pitcher's front, covering most of the name "REPPERT" and abbreviation "PA." Additional minor crazing to base on right side of pitcher.
