One-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and open loop handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a stylized brushed design resembling a flower blossom. Short cracks emanating from base. Some exfoliation to surface and underside. Small rim chips, two of which have been filled. A 1 1/2" filled rim chip.
