Two Pieces of Stoneware, Marked "L L," Northeastern U.S. origin, late 18th and/or 19th centuries, a two-gallon ovoid jug with iron-oxide wash and salt-glazed surface, incised "2 / L L," possibly 18th century; paired with an Albany-slip-glazed bottle, stamped "L L," 19th century. Jug in very nice condition with wear to spout, a small spot of wear to handle, and minor chipping to foot. Bottle in excellent condition with light edge wear. H (of bottle) 6 1/2".
