Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, both of cylindrical form, a quart-sized jar with hanging floral motif, paired with a one-and-a-half-gallon jar with horizontal foliate motif. Smaller jar with a shallow 3/4" chip to exterior of rim. Larger jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a tiny in-the-firing ping to rim. H (of smaller jar) 7 1/8".
