One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a stem bearing fan-shaped flowers and leaves. A shallow 1" rim chip to reverse. Two short in-the-firing surface lines to underside, not visible on interior.
