Rare Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Vine Decoration, attributed to the John Zigler Pottery, Timberville, VA, circa 1830, cylindrical jar with tapered shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated around the shoulder with four wavy slip-trailed stems bearing brushed leaves. A large in-the-firing contact mark to one side. A tiny base nick. Very minor rim wear. H 8".
