Scarce One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, NY, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a fan-tailed bird perched on a stylized branch. Slip-trailed wavy line decoration to spout area. Very nice condition with a minor nick to spout, a minor nick to rim on reverse, and a minor base nick. Some light staining.
