Rare Glazed Redware Jar with Scrolled Handles, Stamped "A B," possibly Absalom Bixler, Lancaster County, PA, ovoid jar with raised, coggled banding, flared rim, and heavily-scrolled handles, the surface covered in a reddish-brown lead-and-manganese glaze. Underside impressed "A B," possibly for the Lancaster County, PA potter, Absalom Bixler. One rim chip. Shallow chipping to one handle. A shallow chip and minor wear to lower coggled molding. Small base chips. H 9".
