Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "NEW GENEVA / POTTERY.," PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared "wax sealer" rim, decorated with freehand straight and wavy stripes and "NEW GENEVA POTTERY" maker's stenciling. Chips to interior of rim and inner wax sealer rim. A few spots of staining. Light wear to base. H 9 3/8".
