Unusual Stoneware Canning Jar with Folky Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably Western PA or WV origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with flared rim, decorated with a crudely-brushed design of a star-shaped flower or tree emanating from a stylized ground, applied over a slip-coated surface. A base chip and two small rim chips. H 8 1/2".
