Fine Glazed Redware Handled Jar, New England origin, early 19th century, thin-walled, ovoid jar with footed base, semi-squared rim, and applied handle, the lead-glazed surface featuring brilliant dark green, chartreuse, and orange-spotted coloration. Restored handle. A 2 1/2" area of restoration to rim. Some additional shallow chipping and light wear to top edge of rim. H 10 1/2".
