Four Manganese-Decorated Redware Jars, Norwalk, CT origin, circa 1840, three ovoid, handled jars and a cylindrical jar, each decorated with splashed manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. All with chips and/0r wear. Smallest ovoid jar with additional lines on underside, continuing onto base. Middle-sized ovoid jar with an in-the-firing separation to one handle. H (of tallest) 10 1/2".
