Fine Glazed Redware Pitcher, New England origin, late 18th or early 19th century, thin-walled, ovoid pitcher with footed base and short collar, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze featuring beautiful shades of orange, red, and olive throughout. Provenance: Ex-Janis Blouin Collection. Exceptional form and color. Base chips. Shallow chips and wear to rim. Wear to handle. H 9 1/4".
