Two Pieces of Dilliner Stoneware with Cobalt Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, a one-gallon jar, stenciled "L.B. Dilliner, / NEW GENEVA, / PA." with stenciled star, rose, and foliate motifs and freehand stripe below rim; paired with an ovoid jar with stenciled star design and freehand stripe decoration, stenciled "A.B. DILLINER. / NEW GENEVA. / PA." L.B. Dilliner jar with a 1 1/4" in-the-firing base flake and staining. A.B. Dilliner jar with a 3 7/8" crack from rim on reverse, chips to interior of rim, and a small in-the-firing ping on front with a short line descending from it.
