One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, tall collar, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with two brushed floral motifs. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals and dashes underneath each handle. A chip to one handle. A small chip to exterior of rim and two small chips to interior of rim.
