One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, ovoid jar with footed base, tall collar, and extruded lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a brushed swag and hanging flower motif. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals and a wavy line of cobalt underneath each handle. Colored chips to interior of rim. A colored chip to exterior of rim. Two minor base nicks.
