Scarce One-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "J.A.C.," John A. Craven, Randolph County, NC, mid 19th century, ovoid jug with wide, rounded mouth, the salt-glazed surface featuring attractive glaze runs to the shoulder. Excellent condition with two short, faint lines at base, probably in-the-firing.
