Three Stoneware Match Safes, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, all with cobalt highlights throughout, a large-sized example with the impressed advertising, "J. Reisch & Bros., / Celebrated / Bimini Lager Beer," paired with two smaller match safes, both impressed "AMERICAN / BREW CO. / ROCHESTER, / N.Y." within a shield with flying eagle. Largest in excellent condition with a minor base chip. Smaller safes in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of largest) 5" ; Diam. (at base) 6 1/2".
