One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Pittsburgh, PA Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "Wm. HASLAGE / & CO. / GROCERS AND / TEA DEALERS / No. 18 Diamond. / PITTS." Freehand stripe decoration below rim and at base. Excellent condition with very minor wear to interior of rim and a salt drip to reverse.
