Tanware Figure of a Spaniel, Ohio origin, late 19th century, molded figure of a seated spaniel with impressed eyes and incised nostrils and mouth, the surface decorated with large areas of reddish-brown glaze over a buff-colored clay ground. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with traces of old, light-green paint in mouth. H 7 1/2".
