Exceptional Rockingham Raccoon Match Holder, Inscribed "MADE / BY / A.H. Prall /1903" and "A.S.P.", Andrew H. Prall at the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, 1903, molded match holder with stump-form containers and figure of a raccoon resting on a log, the surface covered in an amber-colored Rockingham glaze. Hand-incised details to bark. Incised "MADE / BY / A.H. Prall / 1903" on underside and "A.S.P." on side of match holder, indicating Prall likely made the piece for a relative. Shallow chipping to base. Some small spots of edge wear. L 6 3/4" ; W 6 3/4" ; H 4 1/4".
