Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, two cylindrical one-and-a-half-gallon jar with swag decoration, both stamped "P. HERRMANN"; paired with a half-gallon cylindrical jar with cobalt clover decoration below a cobalt band. One Herrmann jar with hairlines in underside, one of which continues a few inches up body of jar, as well as some relatively minor, in-the-firing roughness to rim, which is glazed over. Other Herrmann jar with a shallow 3/4" rim chip and some small in-the-firing pings to surface. Half-gallon jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor rim nick.
