Three Glazed Redware Jars, Norwalk, CT origin, circa 1840, all of ovoid form with footed base, tall collar, and applied handles, each decorated with daubed or splashed manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Smallest jar with open handles. Smallest with wear to rim and one handle, as well as a filled rim chip, in otherwise excellent condition. Middle-sized jar with restored diagonal 3" crack from rim, a restored rim chip, light wear to rim, and base chips. Largest jar with two shallow chips to one handle, two in-the-firing lines to opposite handle, light wear to midsection, and base chips. H (of smallest) 8 1/8".
