Two Alkaline-Glazed Face Pitchers, Stamped "B.B. CRAIG / VALE, NC", early fourth quarter 20th century, both of similar ovoid form with flared collars and applied clay facial features, including smiling mouths with china teeth. Each coated in a gray alkaline glaze over a reddish clay body and impressed with a Burlon Craig maker's mark on underside. Both in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of smaller pitcher) 3 5/8" ; H (of taller pitcher) 7 3/4".
