Stoneware "GR" Mug with Incised Decoration, Westerwald, Germany, 18th century, ovoid form with footed base and heavily-tooled collar, featuring an embossed cartouche with the initials, "GR", surrounded by petals. Sides of mug decorated with incised, stylized floral motifs, including elaborate crossing line designs on the interiors of the blossoms. Cobalt highlights throughout. Excellent condition with minor base wear. H 6".
