Glazed Redware Jug, Maine origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base tooled shoulder and rounded spout, the lead-glazed surface featuring a mottled brownish-red ground overlain with greenish highlights. Excellent color. Very nice condition with some glaze flakes to spout and some small spots of wear to edges of handle. H 8".
