Glazed Redware Pitcher, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid pitcher with flared base, tooled shoulder, and short, flaring rim, ,the lead-glazed surface featuring mottled, bright-orange coloration. Some in-the-firing fissures to underside, not visible on interior. Some flakes to underside, possibly in-the-making. Wear and shallow chips to rim and spout. An approximately 2" diagonal line from rim on side of pitcher. Wear to edges of handle. H 7 1/8".
