Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base and flared spout, the surface covered in a speckled lead-and-manganese glaze, including darker glaze application to the spout and shoulder. Flakes to body of jug, which have been colored. Small spout chips, which have been colored. A shallow 5/8" flake to edge of handle and a few other small handle flakes. Several base chips. H 9".
