Small-Sized Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, early to mid 19th century, ovoid jug with footed base and tooled spout, the lead-glazed surface decorated with large splashes of manganese over a reddish ground with bright-orange accents to the shoulder. Strong color. Very nice condition. A base chip. Body of jug with two small flakes and a minuscule flake. Handle with a small flake and minuscule flake. A minor flake to spout. H 6".
