Fine Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, circa 1840, highly-ovoid jug with footed base, tooled shoulder, flattened spout, and heavily-ribbed handle, decorated with manganese sponging over an olive ground with orange spotting, all under a clear lead glaze. Strong color. Excellent condition with light wear to edge of handle. H 7".
