Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid-bodied pitcher with tall, flaring collar and heavily-tooled rim, decorated in Albany slip with three groups of graduated swags to the body, situated between straight and wavy freehand stripes. Collar profusely-decorated with four columns of graduated swags extending from the spout. Some restoration to glazed portion of rim. Otherwise excellent condition. H 7 5/8".
