Five-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Wreath and 1880 Date, Stamped "HAXSTUN & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.", 1880, large-sized, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed wreath surrounding the slip-trailed date "1880". Excellent condition with a minor chip to bottom edge, probably in-the-firing.
