Rare Miniature Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Gemel, New Haven, CT origin, circa 1825, two conjoined ovoid jugs with handle applied at their juncture; decorated with cobalt highlights to the spouts and running vertically where the jugs meet. Provenance: Skinner, Inc., The Collection of Lewis Scranton. Handle broken and reglued. A small chip to each spout. Two flakes to underside of one jug along edge. H 4 1/2".
