Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with "Ghost Bird" Decoration, NY State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a hollow-bodied bird surrounded by numerous heavily-shaded leaves, accented with spotted trails. Fry to cobalt. Two small rim chips on reverse, one of which has a 5/8" thin line extending from it on top of rim.
