One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Enoch Burnett, Washington, D.C., circa 1850, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a brushed design of three flowers emanating from a central stem. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 6 1/2" hairline from rim. A 2" in-the-firing flake to bottom edge. Two minor chips and small flake to bottom edge. A shallow 7/8" flake to top of rim. A minor nick to exterior of rim.
