Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid pitcher with flared base, decorated around the midsection with a swag and hanging flower design, and further decorated on each side of the collar with two wavy freehand stripes as well as swags flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Restoration to body, spout, and underside. H 15 1/4".
