One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1840, ovoid jar with footed base, tooled shoulder, squared rim, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a large drooping floral motif. A minor base chip. Some fairly innocuous crazing. Faint wear to midsection on one side.
