Two Pieces of West Virginia Stoneware with Cobalt Decoration, circa 1880, a two-gallon cylindrical jar with freehand "2", stenciled "WARNER & RUSSELL / BRIDGEPORT W.VA.", paired with a two-gallon cylindrical crock with freehand stripe decoration and stenciled "2", attributed to Palatine, WV. Bridgeport jar in very nice condition with tiny nicks to raised molding at shoulder and some other light surface wear. Palatine crock in excellent condition with some minor surface wear.
