Two Glazed Redware Jars, Norwalk, CT origin, circa 1840, both of ovoid form with applied handles, daubed manganese decoration, and clear lead glaze. High-collared example with wear to one handle, small glaze flakes to rim, a minor base chip, and light wear to midsection. Other jar numerous small rim chips, a few base chips, and surface wear to midsection. H (of each) 8 1/2".
