One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Grapes Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA", circa 1865, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed design of a cluster of grapes, hanging from a stem between a leaf and looping vine. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. Desirable size. Some fry to cobalt. Otherwise excellent condition.
