Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "NORTH.BAY", John C. Walede, North Bay, NY, circa 1855, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed design of a flowering stem. Slip-trailed "2" to shoulder. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. A thin crack on underside, continuing a short distance onto base on front.
