Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug with Stenciled Eagle Motif, Stenciled "A.P. DONAGHHO, / PARKERSBURG, W. Va.", circa 1875, ovoid jug with tooled spout, featuring a stenciled design of a Federal eagle with shield, clutching olive branches in its talons. Stenciled with A.P. Donaghho maker's mark above. A 1 1/4" loss to spout. A second, small chip to spout. A few in-the-firing contact marks to shoulder. A few in-the-firing brownish drips to left side. Some light staining.
