Seven-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Beaver, PA origin, circa 1870, large-sized, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed stem bearing five flower blossoms and graduated groups of leaves. Excellent condition with a chip to each handle, some traces of water glass staining to exterior, and water glass staining to interior. H 18".
